BHIMKUND ANUGUL

 

Bhimkand : A rock art sleeping image of Lord Vishnu is located at Bhimakanda village about 30 km north of Talcher town and 50 km from Angul & on the right bank of river Brahmani . The imagedates back to 8th – 9th century A.D. and has the distinction of being the largest sleeping idol of Lord Vishnu. The image reclining to its right is about 42 (126.5 CM) long 8 wide.

ଭୀମକାଣ୍ଡ: ଭଗବାନ ବିଷ୍ଣୁଙ୍କ ଏକ ପଥର କଳା ଶୋଇବା ପ୍ରତିଛବି ତାଲଚର ସହରଠାରୁ ପ୍ରାୟ 30 କିଲୋମିଟର ଉତ୍ତରରେ ଏବଂ ଅଙ୍ଗୁଲ ଠାରୁ 50 କିଲୋମିଟର ଦୂରରେ ଏବଂ ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣୀ ନଦୀର ଡାହାଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱରେ ଭୀମକାଣ୍ଡା ଗ୍ରାମରେ ଅବସ୍ଥିତ | ଚିତ୍ରଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଅଷ୍ଟମ - 9th ମ ଶତାବ୍ଦୀ A.D କୁ ଫେରି ଆସିଥିଲା ଏବଂ ଭଗବାନ ବିଷ୍ଣୁଙ୍କର ସର୍ବ ବୃହତ ଶୋଇଥିବା ପ୍ରତିମା ହେବାର ପାର୍ଥକ୍ୟ ଅଛି | ଏହାର ଡାହାଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱରେ ଥିବା ପ୍ରତିଛବି ପ୍ରାୟ 42 (126.5 CM) ଲମ୍ବା 8 ଚଉଡା |

ଏଠାରେ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ସମସ୍ତ ପର୍ବପର୍ବାଣି ଏବଂ ଓଷା ବ୍ରତ ବହି ମିଳେ
ଏଠାରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ପୂଜା ଓଷା ପାଇଁ ଉପକରଣ ମିଳିଥାଏ
